Signed ROBERT EICKHOLT Paperweight Modern Design Cobalt Blue 5.5” Tall 2000 This listing is for a beautiful Robert Eicholt paperweight from 2000. The paperweight is modern in design and features a clear egg shaped form with a large piece of cobalt surrounded by waves of in various shades of blue. The bottom of the design has glass that looks like smoke or a cloud. There are controlled bubbles in an arch above the design and one large bubble in the center. Signed and dated 2000 on base. The approx size is 5 1/2 x 3 1/8 inches. It is in excellent condition without any cracks or chips. Made in the USA. Eickholt Glass was founded in 1978 in Columbus, Ohio. They were known for their modern distinctive designs, one of a kind pieces and the use of cobalt and metals in the art. Glass artist Robert Eickholt announced in May 2013 that he was retired.
