Description

This vintage paperweight is a unique addition to any collection. The mouth-blown glass features a beautiful multi-colored floral design, with a clear polished finish. The piece is handmade and original. The paperweight measures 3.5” tall x 3.25” diameter and weighs 2 pounds 0.4 ounces. The paperweight is from the late 20th century, with a backstamp of foil label and an original/reproduction status of vintage original. It is perfect for desk and home decor, with a contemporary style and a theme of art glass paperweights. The product line is Handmade Glass Flowers, and it is made of glass material. This item is a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The end photos are taken with a black light. Not that it’s uranium glass but that it does fluorescence in areas. The piece does have an inclusion in it from the mouth blowing process. It’s pictured next to the pink flower. Inclusions are common in blown glass and not considered defects, however this little inclusion is a perfect circle, has some of the ash in it and I wanted to point it out. It’s within the glass not on the pieces exterior. The foil label on the underside of the glass looks to say Handmade Glass Flowers. That’s all I can make out. I picked it up from my local antique shop to pass along. I realized I have one in my collection already and really don’t need another. Very pretty with controlled bubbles and air bubbles from the blowing process as well.
